Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Lead Data & Analytics Engineer to drive our full cloud transformation as we migrate to Azure and manage hybrid infrastructure. You will modernize data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric, optimize Azure SQL Managed Instances, and translate legacy SSIS/SSAS to cloud solutions.
Strong Agile/SDLC governance will guide design, documentation, and sign-off processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Data Engineering/BI or Cloud Architecture.
- Hands-on Azure Data Factory, Fabric, and Azure SQL.
- Experience with SSIS/SSAS in cloud migrations.
- Strong Power BI, DAX, and semantic modeling skills.
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum and SDLC governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead cloud migration and data engineering to support Azure transition by September.
- Develop and optimize pipelines and database schemas across Azure platforms.
- Maintain legacy SSIS/SSAS during transition on cloud VMs.
- Build scalable semantic models and Power BI reports for stakeholders.
