Job description

We’re looking for a visionary Data Architect to lead the design of scalable, consistent, and governed enterprise data architecture. You’ll define standards, shape technology choices, and partner with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals.

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, aligned with business and technical needs;
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering Manager to ensure architectural direction supports delivery team execution, performance, and maintainability;
• Work closely with the Data Governance & Business Analyst Manager to embed governance principles into architectural standards, including stewardship models, metadata, lineage, and data classifications;
• Guide the development and integration of data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and analytics-ready data products across Azure and Databricks environments;
• Evaluate, recommend, and standardize tools and patterns for data modeling, quality enforcement, access control, and cataloging;
• Ensure architectural alignment for strategic projects and review technical designs for conformance with platform direction;
• Provide thought leadership and mentoring to engineering and analytics teams on architecture, design, and governance practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or platform design;
• Expertise in cloud data platforms, especially Azure, Databricks, and Delta Lake;
• Deep understanding of data modeling (relational, dimensional, canonical), integration design, and metadata management;
• Experience working with offshore teams to facilitate project work;
• Experience aligning data architecture with governance frameworks, access controls, and data quality standards;
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
