Job summary

MLM Packaging Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for an IT & Data Analytics Intern to support data, reporting, Excel, and IT-driven projects. The role focuses on data analytics, Excel calculations, and process improvements within a dynamic packaging solutions environment.

You will work with real company data to improve calculations, reporting, and data solutions, gaining hands-on experience in dashboards and BI concepts while learning IT workflows and automation tools.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
Strong interest in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.
Basic understanding of data cleaning, data structuring, calculations, and analysis.
Willingness to learn new IT and data-related tools.

Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Data Management: Collect, organize, clean, and validate data from different sources.
Structure and maintain datasets for accuracy and consistency.
Identify data issues and assist in resolving them.
Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and insights.
Prepare data summaries for management and internal teams.
Maintain data documentation and calculation logic.
Excel & Calculations: Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets, create formulas, pivot tables, dashboards.
Develop reusable Excel templates for standardization.
Improve existing spreadsheets for structure and usability and troubleshoot issues.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and convert raw data into meaningful tables and visuals.
Support Power BI dashboards and data visualization.
IT & Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT to support data/system projects and automate repetitive tasks.
Assist in data migration, consolidation, and restructuring.
Document system processes, data structures, and workflows.
