Job summary

Setel Ventures is offering a 4-6 month data analytics internship in Kuala Lumpur, starting September 2026. You will help produce and improve dashboards, analyze transactional data, and support Marketing, Product, and Operations with data-driven insights.

The role requires a quantitative bachelor’s degree, proficiency in Excel or SQL, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset. You will gain exposure to multiple data processes and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in related field or similar quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
• Proficient in data analysis tools like Excel or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Produce, enhance, and maintain recurring reports and dashboards.
• Analyze transactional data and develop automated queries based on required business logic.
• Provide campaign data analysis and operational support for Marketing, Product, and Operations Teams.
• Develop and execute ad-hoc queries and analyses required by business stakeholders.
• Maintain and update documentation to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
• Contribute fresh perspectives, identify areas for improvement, and address gaps in data team processes.
• Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
• Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
