Job summary

EPOS is seeking a Data Intern in Malaysia to support data-related initiatives across the business. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, data management, and business insights while working with real-world datasets.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to transform data into meaningful insights that support decisions and operational improvements. This internship offers exposure to data reporting and BI tools, with room to grow your analytics skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a data-related field.
• Basic understanding of data analysis and data visualisation.
• Familiarity with Excel / Google Sheets is required.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI or other data tools is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with numbers and large datasets.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, organising, and maintaining business data.
• Support the preparation of regular reports, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in validating data accuracy and resolving data inconsistencies.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis from different business teams.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
• Assist in improving existing reporting processes and data workflows.
• Support data-related projects and other initiatives assigned by the team.
