Job description

- Extract, clean, and process trading data from MT4/MT5 platforms including order logs, deal history, account summaries, and tick data.

- Design and maintain data pipelines between MT4/MT5 servers and internal databases or BI systems.

- Analyze trader behavior patterns (e.g., lot size, holding time, stop loss/take profit usage) to identify high-risk clients or strategy types.

- Segment users based on trading style, risk level, and profitability.

- Generate reports on platform performance metrics such as trade volume, slippage, latency, PnL distributions, etc., on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

- Visualize KPIs via dashboards for internal teams (risk, operations, marketing, etc.).

- Evaluate trading strategy performance including profitability, win/loss ratio, drawdowns, and risk-adjusted returns.

- Collaborate with the risk team to detect anomalies, hedging behavior, or potential abuse (e.g., arbitrage, latency exploitation).

- Analyze spread revenue, commission structures, and client net positions to identify profitability opportunities or threats.

- Provide actionable insights to marketing, CRM, trading, and executive teams for business optimization.

- Support business decisions with quantitative analysis based on real-time and historical trading data.

- Build automated scripts using Python, SQL, or similar tools to streamline data extraction and report generation.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytics processes.

- Ensure proper handling of client data in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

- Work with IT to maintain secure access to sensitive datasets and trading logs.

Required Skills:

- Proficient in at least one data analysis tool (such as Python + Pandas/NumPy, or R).

- Ability to process Excel advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Query, etc.

- Proficient in SQL, capable of handling orders and account information from the database.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in using MT4/MT5 Manager API / Web API / Bridge API.

- Familiar with risk control rule modeling or quantitative strategy evaluation.

- Experience in connecting to CRM systems (such as CRM/BO data analysis).
