We are looking for a sharp, commercially minded Data Analyst to serve as the analytical backbone of our marketing and commercial decision-making. Reporting directly to the HOM, you will be the person who turns scattered numbers — marketing, sales, revenue, cost, and market data — into a coherent, interconnected picture that leadership can actually act on.
You will be expected to understand the relationships between metrics — how acquisition spend flows through to deposits, how trading activity connects to revenue, how cost structures interact with campaign performance — and to surface the insights that drive key management decisions. You'll work at the centre of the data flow: translating management's questions into the right dashboards and reports, and acting as the key liaison to Tech, Product, and CRM teams when building the data pipelines that feed them.
This is a mid to senior level role for someone who can come in and start running from day one — you should be comfortable owning the analytics function independently, not waiting to be told what to measure.
What You'll Own:
Data Analysis & Commercial Insight
- Make sense of marketing, sales, financial, market, and operational data — and, critically, the interconnected relationships between them — to support decision-making at management level
- Go beyond "what happened" to "why it happened and what to do next" — identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities across the funnel and the wider business
- Analyse the full commercial picture: acquisition metrics, conversion funnels (lead → KYC → FTD → FTT), trading volumes, revenue and cost metrics, LTV, CAC, and channel ROI
- Provide ad-hoc deep-dive analysis to answer specific strategic questions from the senior management
- Translate management requirements into clear, well-structured dashboards and reports — understanding the underlying business question before building
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Sensors (神策), our primary data and analytics platform, ensuring they are accurate, intuitive, and decision-ready
- Establish a single source of truth for marketing and commercial reporting, reducing reliance on fragmented spreadsheets and manual pulls
- Develop both recurring reporting (daily/weekly/monthly performance) and strategic one-off analyses
- Act as the key point of contact between Marketing and the Tech, Product, and CRM teams on all data matters
- Own the marketing side of the data pipeline — coordinating the flow of data from CRM, Appsflyer and other data pipeline into Sensors, ensuring data is passed correctly, cleanly, and reliably
- Work with technical teams to scope, test, and validate tracking and data integrations, and troubleshoot when data doesn't flow or reconcile as expected
- Advocate for data quality and governance — flagging gaps, inconsistencies, and tracking issues before they undermine decision-making
Marketing Data (Core Focus)
- Serve as the marketing team's analytical expert — deeply familiar with marketing metrics across paid, organic, lifecycle, and campaign channels
- Partner with the Heads of SEO, Content, Campaigns & Growth, Social and Lifecycle to measure performance, attribute outcomes, and connect activity to commercial results
- Help build a consistent measurement and attribution framework across the marketing function
What We're Looking For:
Experience
- 3–6 years in a data analyst or business intelligence role, with a strong marketing analytics component
- Proven experience in financial services, fintech, online trading, or a similarly data-rich, fast-moving industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record building dashboards and reports that senior stakeholders actually use to make decisions
- Experience coordinating with technical teams on data pipelines, tracking implementation, or CRM-to-analytics integrations
Skills (Required)
- Strong command of marketing data and metrics (this is the core requirement) — funnel analytics, attribution, channel performance, CAC/LTV, and campaign measurement
- Solid understanding of financial, revenue, and cost metrics, and the ability to connect commercial and marketing data into one picture
- Hands-on experience building dashboards in Sensors (神策), or a directly comparable platform (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Salesforce Analytics) with clear ability to pick up Sensors quickly
- Strong SQL and data manipulation skills; comfortable working with large, messy data sets
- Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin Chinese and English — for both stakeholder communication and coordination with technical/regional teams
- Excellent stakeholder translation skills — you can take a vague management question and turn it into the right analysis or dashboard
Skills (Advantageous)
- Familiarity with the metrics specific to online trading / brokerage (deposits, trading volume, spreads/commissions, active trader ratios)
- Experience with GA4, tag management, and marketing tracking infrastructure
- Python or R for deeper statistical analysis
- Exposure to data governance or pipeline architecture
Mindset
- Self-starting — you can walk in and take ownership of the analytics function without heavy direction
- Commercially curious — you care about the business decision behind the number, not just the number itself
- Detail-oriented but able to zoom out — you catch data errors and see the strategic story
- A clear communicator — you make complex data legible to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management
