Job summary

MR D.I.Y. is seeking a data analytics professional to build forecasting models and drive business decisions across multiple platforms.

You will evaluate model performance and develop simulations to test pricing, display, and stock changes, while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders. Applicants should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong Python/SQL skills with time series forecasting and predictive modeling experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with time series forecasting experience.
• Hands-on experience in predictive modeling and ML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain forecasting models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Evaluate model accuracy using appropriate metrics and continuously improve performance.
• Develop simulation models to assess pricing, display, and stock changes.
• Design optimization models for inventory allocation across stores and channels.
• Create and maintain dashboards to drive business decisions across platforms.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to ensure reliable data pipelines.
• Translate requirements for diverse stakeholders and manage project delivery (nice to have).
• Propose data-driven ideas and execute initiatives effectively.
