Job summary

A leading data analytics firm in Kuantan, Malaysia, is seeking an individual to assist data analysts with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data. You will prepare reports and support decision-making, as well as help maintain dashboards. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and experience in data-related roles, including knowledge of tools like Excel and Python. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in sales operations or data analysis is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ETL/Automation tools (e.g., Python, RPA, Airflow) is a plus.
• Experience in FMCG, Distribution, or Multi-Principal Sales environment is highly desirable.

Assist data analysts in collecting, cleaning, and organizing datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Perform basic data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and support data-driven decision-making.

Assist in building and maintaining dashboards using tools like Power BI.

Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies, and report findings to the team.

Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc data requests.

Maintain data documentation and analysis reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or current undergraduate student (preferred majors: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related fields).
• 1–3 years’ experience in sales operations, data analysis, or reporting is an advantage.
• Experience in FMCG, Distribution, or Multi-Principal Sales environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ETL/Automation tools (e.g., Python, RPA, Airflow, n8n) is an advantage.
• Understanding of SFA/DMS/ERP systems and data flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT.
