Job summary

FOMEMA SDN BHD is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support data collection, cleaning, validation and organisation. You will use Excel, SQL or Python for data extraction and preparation, and help update Power BI dashboards and reports.

The role involves basic data checks, automation of recurring reports, and maintaining documentation while handling data confidentially. A related degree is required and willingness to learn in a dynamic government-linked company environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Hons.) or related field required.
• Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics or related discipline preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data handling and data analysis expected.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python and Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Hons.) or any related field

Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or any other relevant discipline

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data handling and data analysis

Familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI or other reporting tools is an advantage

Good communication, team work and problem solving skills

Willing to learn and work with business data, spreadsheets and digital reporting tools
