Overview

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Develop andimplementdatabases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing any kind of unstructured data into readable information, and proceed with analysis.
• Understand the requirements and develop a robust data model that will support the current requirements and future business growth.
• Work with management toprioritisebusiness and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities based on the analysed result.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Statistics or related fields.
• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Stronganalytical skillswith the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages tools, databases, programming , or ETL .
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets .
• Experience in BI development like Data Warehouse and Reporting environment will be an advantage.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
