Job summary

InfoConnect Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Data Analyst to lead critical data migration, lifecycle management, and analytics projects across BI environments.

You will assess SAS-based reporting and ETL migrations, collaborate on analytical data models, data marts, and self-service dashboards, and establish data quality rules with governance policies to protect sensitive data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Enterprise BI, Data Governance, Analytics Systems.
• Deep technical knowledge of IBM Cognos Analytics
• Hands-on SAS ETL / SAS Data Integration Studio / SAS reporting outputs
• Proficiency in dimensional modeling (Kimball), star/snowflake schemas, data warehouse concepts
• Strong SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and audit reporting during migrations
• Nice to Have: exposure to Python/SQL-based ETL or cloud data pipelines (AWS Glue)

Responsibilities

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Data Engineer to define data contracts and quality expectations for incoming ETL/ELT feeds, ensuring upstream pipelines deliver analysis-ready data for BI and governance work.

SAS Skills: Hands‑on experience with SAS ETL / SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS reporting outputs, with the ability to interpret and re‑platform existing SAS logic.

Data Modeling: Proficiency in dimensional modeling (Kimball methodology), star/snowflake schemas, and data warehouse concepts.

SQL & Data Analysis: Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and audit reporting during migrations.

Nice to Have: Exposure to Python/SQL‑based ETL or cloud data pipelines (e.g., AWS Glue), to support closer collaboration with the Data Engineering team.

Adaptability: Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new BI, governance, and data management technologies as platforms and compliance requirements evolve.
