The Data Analyst with basic AI Automation knowledge will bridge raw data infrastructure with executive decision-making. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing corporate Power BI dashboards, maintaining the Google BigQuery data lake environment, and building automated, AI-assisted data workflows to streamline business reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Power BI Developmnt & Maintenance: Build, deploy, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for Retail, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Finance. Write complex, optimized DAX formulas and build robust data models (.pbix).
- Data Lake & Pipeline Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled SQL queries, data ingestion pipelines, and ETL flows within Google BigQuery connected to retail POS, ERP, and Shopify platforms
- AI & Automation Workflow Implementation:
Design, build, and optimize automated data workflows (using tools like Make.com, n8n, Python, or Power Automate) to automate repetitive daily reporting, alert triggers, and data validation tasks.
Utilize Generative AI and LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, or Copilot) to generate automated data summaries, analyze trend anomalies, and build intelligent alert mechanisms for inventory and sales performance.
Apply prompt engineering to interact with AI tools, automating exploratory data analysis and producing clear executive summaries from raw datasets.
- Data Quality & Reconciliation: Audit daily scheduled data refreshes, identify pipeline failures, and reconcile report discrepancies across operational source systems.
- Stakeholder Support & Documentation: Collaborate with internal departments to translate business requirements into actionable visual metrics; maintain up-to-date data dictionary, prompt libraries, and automated workflow documentation.
Requirements & Technical Competencies
- Degree: A bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in business intelligence, data analysis, dashboard development, and process automation (preferred).
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Power BI (Expert in DAX, Power Query/M, Data Modeling, Row-Level Security, Power BI Service administration).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and cloud data warehousing (specifically Google BigQuery).
- Hands‑on experience with Workflow Automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, n8n, Make.com, or Python automation scripts).
- Practical knowledge of Generative AI integration, prompt engineering, and utilizing AI coding assistance / LLMs for data transformation and automated insights.
