Job summary

SJ Securities Sdn Bhd is seeking a security professional to implement and manage a wide range of security systems across the organization's IT environment.

You will monitor network activity, conduct assessments, and develop security policies to protect data and systems from cyber threats. The role includes incident response, patching, and compliance with Bursa Malaysia Securities Commission standards.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and managing security systems such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and other security software and hardware.
• Monitoring network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to threats.
• Conducting regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improvements in security posture.
• Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect data and systems.
• Responding to security incidents to contain damage and prevent further impact.
• Updating software with latest security patches and ensuring defenses for network resources.
• Managing the security incident response team to coordinate remediation and resolution.
• Proactively assessing exposures and performing vulnerability scans to drive remediation.
• Managing information security projects to comply with Bursa Malaysia Securities Commission standards.
• Overseeing information security compliance including threat monitoring, patch management, vulnerability management, antivirus management, hardening and identity management.
