upscale is seeking a Software Engineer in Petaling Jaya to join our cybersecurity-focused team. You will develop and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring, Hibernate and modern web tech, while contributing to CI/CD and Agile processes.

With 3+ years of experience, you will work on web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Angular) and data skills (SQL) in a hybrid, office-plus-home setting. Malaysian candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with 3+ years experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Experience with web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Angular.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions based on product specifications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD framework to streamline delivery of software solutions.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting problem areas.
• Follows SCRUM/Agile software development methodologies.
• Apply best-practice in software development be it technical or non-technical.
