Job Title: Cybersecurity Operations Manager Location: TechM Malaysia Cyberjaya Years of Experience: 7+ years Job Summary: The Cybersecurity Operations Manager is responsible for securing and managing the cybersecurity posture of the MAHB¿s operational technology (OT) environments. This role focuses on protecting critical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and bridging the gap between IT and OT systems to enhance resilience against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in the context of operational technology, and will be adept at implementing security measures that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies for operational technology environments to protect critical infrastructure. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses in OT systems. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to cybersecurity in OT environments. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cybersecurity measures across both IT and OT systems. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting. Provide training and awareness programs for staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization¿s security posture. Prepare and present reports on cybersecurity status, incidents, and compliance to senior management. Mandatory Skills: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. Strong knowledge of security operations and software development security. Experience in managing cybersecurity in operational technology environments. Proficiency in risk assessment and vulnerability management tools. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams. Preferred Skills: Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar. Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA security. Knowledge of incident response and threat intelligence methodologies. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools. Qualifications: Bachelor¿s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. 7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with a focus on operational technology. Proven track record of successfully managing cybersecurity projects and initiatives. Strong understanding of both IT and OT environments and their unique security challenges.
