Job summary

Atome is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to join the Security Operations Center (SOC) in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia. This internship offers a chance to work alongside industry experts, assist in security event monitoring, and support incident investigations. Ideal candidates should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, have a passion for cybersecurity, and possess basic understanding of networking concepts. This role provides hands-on experience in a meaningful and dynamic environment with potential career progression into a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
• Interested in SOC operations, ethical hacking, or cyber threat intelligence.
• Familiar with firewalls, malware analysis, TCP/IP, and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Security Event Monitoring within the SOC.
• Support Incident Investigations and analyze security threats.
• Conduct Basic Security Assessments including vulnerability scanning.
