Job summary

EC-Council is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to maintain, implement, and optimize SIEM infrastructure and SOC security solutions, ensuring system reliability, client support, infrastructure health, documentation, and effective integration of cybersecurity technologies. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, SIEM, security engineering, or IT infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SIEM solutions, security monitoring tools, system integration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Experience with networking, system architecture, security technologies, documentation, and health-check monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to provide 8x5 and on-call/extended-hour support; certifications such as Security+, CEH, CCNA, or vendor-specific SIEM certifications are an advantage.

• Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures.
• Design, install, and implement cyber infrastructure solutions that integrate with the existing infrastructure.
• Create and document, network, and system diagrams.
• Health check monitoring and regular clients’ infrastructure maintenance
• Provides support 8x5, also responsible for on-call, extended hour, and weekend support as required by mission.
• Design, install and implementing all SOC requirement software and monitoring tools.
• To assist any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the company.

Position Overview
