Main Responsibilities:
- Support provides technical and layout support to the KONE Australia & New Zealand CSE team, understands customer requests, and customizes layouts to combine with standard & non-standard KONE offerings.
- Focusing on both frontline & supply line non-standard layout cases, CSE Engineer, Support is accountable for providing layouts for tender, construction, and approval, including integrations, products, steel shafts, title-blocks, correct revisions and drafting ISO accuracy.
Job Descriptions:
Collaboration with KONE Australia & New Zealand CSE Team:
- Update standard and non-standard layouts as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of layouts to meet customer expectations.
- Participate in KONE Australia & New Zealand CSE meetings and support with layout and technical questions.
- Work with the team to optimize solutions when required.
- Inform KONE Australia & New Zealand CSE about any layout changes that might affect the offering
- Collaborate across New Building Solutions (NBS) and Modernisation projects.
Collaboration with Supply Line Team:
- Ensure layouts are compatible with Supply Line offerings.
- Communicate any design changes that could impact delivery.
- Promote use of standard (A-Process) designs whenever possible.
- Coordinate with Supply Line, installation, maintenance, and project teams to align on materials and requirements.
Key Tasks in the KONE Process:
- Provide layouts for tender, construction, approval, and as-built phases when needed.
- Supply KONE Australia & New Zealand CSE team with details for material ordering and documentation.
Requirements :
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree from any major
- Preferable 4 years plus of relevant engineering experience in the elevator business
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong Analytical and Conceptual Thinking.
- Able to work in a team, Good communications skills, able to work in under minimum supervisions
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and layout customization.
- Familiarity with elevator/escalator industry layouts is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into precise technical layouts.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools preferred.
