German Dutch ORYX STAINLESS GROUPis a global leader in the production of stainless steel scrap blends. From our production facilities in the Europe and Asia we supply the biggest smelters worldwide for their stainless steel production. After the huge success of our Thailand operation, we now commence operations on our second Asian yard in Johor, Tanjung Langsat.

We source in Malaysia, from neighbouring countries, rest of APAC and globally.Customer service begins with confirming a purchase, its contractual documentation, tracking until import customs clearance, offloading on our yard, reconciliation of order terms, settlement of claims and final payments.

Equally, we exports all materials. Order fulfilment tracks from loading on our yard until clearance until our blended products reach our customers throughout Asia Pacific and payments are finally settled.

Working closely with all departments and the management team, you connect inside our yard and between our operations, suppliers and customers worldwide. You are experienced in

CUSTOMER SERVICE / ORDER FULFILLMENT

You are the go-to-person, if anyone wants to know the contract status. You keep calm when things get hectic, and they will get hectic, we are a fast industry! You are the face of the company that makes suppliers as well as customers stick with us.

What you will do:

  • Contract Management:
  • Prepare, review, and process purchase and sales contracts and create provisional invoice.
  • Ensure all contracts are compliant with terms and regulations as per agreed.
  • Maintain an organized record (in ERP system) of all contracts and related documents.
  • Monitor status of shipment (import & export), check documentation (BL, Customs Forms etc.)
  • Follow up for the pre-payment request, balance payment and finalization.
  • Supplier and customer verification:Vendor due diligence to evaluate and verify the suitability, reliability, and compliance of a vendor before proceeding with the contract agreement.
  • Communication and Coordination:Working closely with all departments and the management team, you connect inside our yard and between our operations, suppliers and customers worldwide. Experience in shipping, logistics and supply chain is very useful.
  • Reporting and analysis:Daily, weekly, monthly reporting of contracts & inventory (Navision)

Experience & Education you bring along:

  • Experience:We are looking for at least 4-5 years relevant experience. If you are more senior, great! We may consider you for a team leadership role.
  • Education:Degree, diploma or deep experience in customer service, business administration, contracts, logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields.
  • Data, contract and documentation:Experienced in inventory management with strong administrative skills. Continuously updated inventory recording, management, and reporting
  • Contract Knowledge:Understanding of contract terms, legal language, and compliance requirements. You ideally worked in cross-border, international environment.
  • Payments:Familiar with payment terms in international trade.

Personally you:

  • Attention to Detail:High level of accuracy in reviewing contracts and processing documentation.
  • Organizational Talent:Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple contracts and tasks.
  • Attitudes:Can work under pressure. Independent, self-driven, highly motivated, and energetic, responsible, takes ownership and is reliable and trustworthy.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Languages:High proficiency in English, Excel and Data Management Systems. Obviously good Bahasa. Other languages and dialects spoken in Malaysia and the wider region very welcome.
