Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  1. Resolve customer requests and inquiries to provide accurate solutions.
  2. Route requests to appropriate internal teams or external support structures (Distributors) according to business strategy (Tiering).
  3. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Trade Compliance, Finance, and other teams to fulfill sales and customer requests using your operational expertise.
  4. Process standard and non-standard orders and quotes from multiple sales channels (Phone, Email) accurately and efficiently.
  5. Provide request status updates through various channels (written and verbal).
  6. Contribute feedback to improve existing processes and enhance our knowledge base.
  7. Address and resolve issues related to nonstandard commercial terms and processes.
  8. Participate in administrative and project support tasks.
  9. Support SMEs during onboarding and mentoring of new joiners.
  10. Collaborate with Account and Opportunity Operations Managers on sales opportunities and account management.
Who You Are:

You understand customer needs and communicate effectively across different settings and audiences. You foster partnerships that help achieve shared goals across the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  1. Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or related fields, or equivalent experience in shared service centers.
  2. Analytical, problem-solving, and proactive approach.
  3. Strong customer service attitude, positive outlook, and excellent work ethic.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  5. Outstanding communication skills.
  6. Advanced proficiency in English and Japanese (reading, writing, speaking).
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Recent graduates or 1-3 years of experience in shared service or customer service roles.
  2. Project management experience.
  3. Sales experience.
  4. Experience working with diverse geographies and functions.
  5. Experience supporting field sales with CRM tools and processes.
