Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Resolve customer requests and inquiries to provide accurate solutions.
  • Route requests to appropriate internal teams or external support structures (Distributors) based on business strategy (Tiering).
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Trade Compliance, Finance, and other departments to fulfill sales and customer requests.
  • Process standard and non-standard orders and quotes from multiple sales channels (Phone, E-Mail) accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide status updates on requests through various channels (written and verbal).
  • Offer feedback to improve processes and enhance knowledge base documentation.
  • Address and resolve issues related to nonstandard commercial terms and processes.
  • Participate in administrative and project support tasks.
  • Support SMEs during onboarding and mentoring for new joiners.
  • Partner with Account Operations Managers and Opportunity Managers on sales and account management tasks.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical, business fields, or equivalent experience in shared service environments.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, and a self-starter attitude.
  • Strong customer service orientation, positive outlook, and work ethic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced English and Japanese language skills (reading, writing, speaking).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent graduates or 1-3 years of experience in shared services or customer service roles.
  • Project management experience.
  • Sales experience.
  • Experience working with various geographies and functions.
  • Experience supporting field sales, CRM tools, and processes.
