Job Purpose
  • Assist in managing daily branch operations, monitor compliance, and regulatory requirements in accordance with the Bank's internal policies and regulations.
  • Ensure high-quality customer experience through excellent customer service and image enhancement.
  • Assist in referral and cross-selling of deposits, investments, insurance, wealth, Takaful products, and activities to achieve branch targets.
Accountabilities
Financial
  • Support referral and cross-selling activities to meet branch targets.
  • Prevent fraud and losses (internal and external).
  • Control and monitor costs as per approved budgets.
  • Achieve transactional and lead generation fee-based income targets.
Process
  • Handle onboarding, customer inquiries, and requests for personal detail changes in compliance with policies.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards such as FSA/IFSA, PDPA, FEA, FATCA, CSR, PCT, AMLA.
  • Manage cash efficiently, including vault, ATM, and deposit terminal operations.
  • Monitor ATM discrepancies, card stock, security items, and maintain cheque books and security logs.
  • Verify cash balances, process cheques, and ensure asset protection.
  • Maintain branch security, including CCTV, alarm systems, and vendor access.
  • Manage IT and non-IT assets, conduct physical asset checks, and recommend write-offs.
  • Ensure proper document storage and archival as per policies.
  • Report lapses, risks, and suspicious transactions timely.
Customer
  • Maintain high customer service standards and handle complaints promptly.
  • Manage safe deposit facilities and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support customer account maintenance and inquiries.
People
  • Manage resources, staff development, and conduct training and appraisals.
Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Participate in CSR activities.
Other Responsibilities
  • Relief duties, operational support, ad-hoc assignments, and vault management.
