Job summary

A leading company in global supply chain solutions seeks a Customer Service Executive for its Penang office. The successful candidate will create and manage shipments, ensuring compliance with required regulations, while building relationships with international clients. Candidates need strong communication skills in English, Bahasa, and Mandarin, with a solid background in logistics or freight forwarding.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years as Customer Service in logistics/freight forwarding industries.
  • Confident, self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Create bookings and shipments with accurate details.
  • Coordinate with shippers and buyers for approvals.
  • Arrange collection and provide documents for cargo submission.

Job description

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE AIR FREIGHT - PENANG

Create Bookings & Shipments on CW1 with accurate details & comply with CW1 requirements

Closing Job on time 48 hours after shipment departed

Booking with airlines once receiving SI from customer

sending the Flight schedule to customer / Overseas

Coordinating with Shippers / Buyers / Overseas for approval & following up with customers for the shipments with Draft AWBs and relevant Docs

Responding to customer email on time

Arranging Collection and provide relevant documents to Airport operations team in advance for preparation of cargo submission

Finalize the AWB and provide shipper with original HAWB and pre alert to agent

Sending invoice DN / CN to shipper / overseas agent

Escalation any problem

Maintaining and monitoring track & trace DSR with actual data

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree holder or equivalent

At least 3 -5 years as Customer Service (Logistics/Freight Forwarding industries)

Business proficient English skill

Strong relationship-building and negotiating skills

Confident, Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently

Strong verbal and written communication skills Bahasa & Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Excellent listening and analytical skills

Knowledge in Cargowise system will be added advantage
