ROLE OVERVIEW: We are searching for a Customer Service Executive for our South East Asia team, to be based at our steel drum manufacturing plant in Petaling Jaya. Reporting to our Customer Service Manager in Singapore, you will ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained through various interaction such as phone, email, online chat, or in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  2. Communicates pricing, shipping dates and appropriate order information to customer to ensure order fulfillment and satisfaction.
  3. Contacts customers to respond to complex inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.
  4. Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
  5. Supports inside and outside sales.
  6. Updates and maintains files, including data entry.
  7. Fields first level escalated and complex customer problems and needs; when the issue is beyond the coordinator’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate colleagues.

Education and Experience:

  1. Demonstrated skills in verbal and written communications.
  2. Able to quickly learn our products and services.
  3. Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  4. Good organization and data entry skills.
  5. Good attention to detail.
  6. Self starter that can work with minimal supervision.
