Qualifications

Job description

• Attend to email correspondence with customers, shipping lines, and overseas agents.

• Manage bookings and coordinate all operational tasks with customers, shipping lines, and internal teams for timely shipment and delivery.

• Submit and review shipping documents to ensure compliance with legal and customer requirements.

• Support the sales team as needed.

• Respond promptly to enquiries from customers or agents and act accordingly.

• Track shipments and monitor to ensure on-time delivery.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to delays, documentation discrepancies, damages, or lost shipments.

• Prepare customer invoices for completed jobs.

• Communicate effectively and build good rapport with customers, agents, shipping liners, and co-loaders.

• Perform ad-hoc assignments delegated by superiors.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.

• Proactive and organized with multitasking abilities.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Initiative and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Team-oriented and results-driven.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin; candidates proficient in Mandarin are preferred for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Fresh graduates or junior-level candidates are welcome; on-the-job training will be provided.
