Job summary

A reputable logistics company in Penang is seeking a Customer Service Executive. The role involves coordinating customer support, managing inquiries and complaints, and ensuring efficient operation within the customer service team. Candidates should possess a diploma in logistics customer service, strong communication skills, and relevant experience. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in related field.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and positive attitude.

  • Coordinate customer service support activities and respond to inquiries.
  • Handle complaints, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.

Coordinate customer service support activities

Handle, follow up and respond to customers’ incoming calls, mails or emails & correspondence.

Provide timely response to both internal & external emails and requests.

Analyse shipping rates and procurement costs to optimize efficiency

Contribute to maintaining good relationships with Clients, Service Providers & Vendors

Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures

Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are in place and kept up to date.

Handle complaints, troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions, escalate problems to Management when necessary

Perform day-to-day administration, coordination & service support duties for the division, as well as any other tasks assigned to meet Company’s objectives

Handle any ad-hoc duties which will be assigned from time to time

Prepare and compile reports as required by Management

Conduct tele-marketing activities for existing customers

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in customer services in logistics or equivalent

Required skill(s): Ms Office & Computer literature

Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage.

At least 2 years of working experience in the related field in same capacity is required for this position.

Good communication skill, hardworking and self-motivated

Possess positive working attitude and able to perform multi-tasking

Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results

Willing to learn and committed to work

Applicants must be willing to work in Penang Island
