Position Overview:
The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of our products in the Malaysian market, focusing on providing technical expertise and support to clients in the veterinary or healthcare sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of the technical aspects of our products, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise and Support
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and support for our product portfolio to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of our products.
  • Assist clients in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to product usage.
Sales Development and Client Engagement
  • Identify and target potential clients in the veterinary and healthcare sectors to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits to clients.
Market Analysis and Intelligence
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities, customer needs, and industry trends, to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market insights.
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely support.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and customer needs.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and contribute to product development and marketing strategies.
Training and Development
  • Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and product advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or a related role, preferably within the veterinary or healthcare industry.
Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of veterinary or healthcare products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze market data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficient in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Fluency in Malay and English, both written and spoken.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Achievement of sales targets and revenue growth in the Malaysian market.
  • Client retention and satisfaction rates.
