Customer Advisory Senior Architecture Advisor (Finance)

What you'll do:
The Customer Advisory Senior Architecture Advisor (AA) works closely with SAP’s Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem to define account strategies. AAs bridge the gap between customer business strategies and solutions by crafting future business and solution architectures and designing transformation roadmaps at the enterprise level to facilitate cloud adoption. They serve as trusted advisors to help customers achieve their desired SAP-based Enterprise Architecture.

As an Architecture Advisor (AA), your key responsibilities include:
Account Planning & Architecture Management Responsibilities
• Support assessment of current solutions and identify opportunities for faster adoption and footprint expansion.
• Engage with customers throughout sales cycles as an integral part of the SAP account team.
• Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure alignment with SAP, customers, and partners.
• Link customer needs to SAP product development leadership.

Creating an SAP Architecture Vision for the Customer
• Identify customer challenges, strategic objectives, and conceptualize solution frameworks.
• Support building customer demand through thought leadership.
• Understand customer’s business processes, models, and industry reference architectures.
• Analyze current landscape and future needs.
• Promote standard cloud architectures leveraging cloud solutions.

Building Key Customer Architecture Deliverables
• Drive business architecture and capability mapping to solution design.
• Ensure IT feasibility of business capabilities and solution architecture.
• Support cloud transformation roadmap development.
• Define hybrid cloud transformation strategies.

Being a Trusted Architecture Advisor
• Align and govern the living roadmap based on customer adoption and evolving needs.
• Drive solution expansion by highlighting value and linkages to SAP portfolio.

What you bring:
• Extensive experience in software/IT organizations as an Enterprise or Solution Architect, with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Experience in SAP Finance, especially core Finance, consolidation, and spend management.
• Ability to articulate SAP business processes.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud, SaaS/PaaS, and related business networks.
• Proven professional networks to drive pipeline and revenue.
• Leadership, project management, and tangible enterprise architecture outcomes.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are assets.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or similar preferred.
• Certifications like Togaf or SAPIEA-10 and experience with EAM tools are advantageous.
