Hilton Malaysia invites you to join our Hotels team as a Commis2. You will assist in food preparation under the supervision of senior chefs and help deliver memorable dining experiences for guests.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, uphold hygiene standards, and contribute to the quality and presentation of menu items while supporting teamwork and ongoing learning within the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or Trainee in a 5-star hotel or high-standard restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of Western or Chinese cuisine.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and noisy kitchen environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; willingness to learn and follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and assist with complex recipes and stations.
• Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving for quality and presentation.
• Keep workstations clean and sanitary, following proper food handling and safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory and requisitions as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
