Position: Department Head/Manager - Accounting

Summary

As the Accounting Department Head/Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating and approving credit applications for corporate clients, ensuring compliance with hotel policies. Your duties will include monitoring and managing accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and minimal overdue balances. You will review and adjust credit limits based on financial assessments and client performance. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of credit-related transactions. You will negotiate payment schedules and resolve disputes professionally and efficiently. Additionally, you will prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, credit risk, and financial performance.

Qualifications
  1. Proven experience in credit management or accounts receivable, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  2. Strong understanding of credit policies, financial analysis, and risk management.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
  4. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  5. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  6. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.
