About the role

Boustead Hotels & Resorts Sdn Bhd, a leading hospitality group, is seeking a talented Credit Manager to join their dynamic team in Mutiara Damansara, Selangor. This full-time role is a crucial position within the organisation, responsible for managing the company's credit policies and procedures to ensure financial stability and growth.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing effective credit management strategies to minimise the risk of bad debts
2. Analysing customer credit profiles and setting appropriate credit limits
3. Monitoring accounts receivable and proactively following up on overdue payments
4. Liaising with customers to address credit-related issues and negotiate payment terms
5. Preparing and presenting detailed credit reports for management review
6. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collections
7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit management
8. Providing training and guidance to the sales and customer service teams on credit policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
3. Proficient in financial analysis and credit risk assessment
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with customers
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
6. Proficient in using credit management software and Microsoft Office applications
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
