We are seeking a Credit Management Executive (Singapore Market) to support credit management and control processes, focusing on risk management and exposure in line with Trading Terms and Conditions. The role involves developing and refining the company's Credit Policy, managing financial controls related to credit, and participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance Accounts Receivables and working capital management.

A Day in the Life of a Credit Management Executive
  • Customer registration: understand the process, verify completeness of credit management information with supporting documents, and obtain approval.
  • Customer assessment: coordinate credit rating reports from authorized agencies and evaluate credit risks based on established methodologies.
  • Understand the business terms and credit periods in Nestlé, and assess their impact on sales performance.
  • Manage and release blocked sales orders in SAP with appropriate approval.
  • Drive reduction of aging customer line items and improve collection processes.
  • Review credit information regularly for trade customers, seek approval for changes, and maintain collateral documentation.
  • Review and approve Direct Debit Authorization (DDA) requests.
  • Assist with the dunning process for overdue customers.
  • Participate in monthly Credit Committee meetings and other stakeholder meetings.
  • Assess and process provisions or write-offs for bad debts when necessary.
  • Assist in establishing and reviewing credit policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements in Credit Management.
  • Handle other credit-related queries, concerns, or projects.
