Develop, implement, or enhance systems for managing credit limits, creditworthiness assessments, and payment collection. Ensure compliance with internal and external audits. Maintain up-to-date credit control files for each purchaser, in both hard and soft copy formats.
• Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze credit data, identify trends, and generate reports to improve credit control effectiveness.
Identify and implement improvements to credit control processes, such as automating tasks or streamlining workflows.
Develop or modify software solutions to support credit control activities, including custom applications or system integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, finance, IT) to ensure alignment and effective implementation of credit control solutions.
• Credit Risk Management
Contribute to the company's overall risk management by identifying and mitigating potential credit risks.
Assist in the collection of overdue invoices, potentially through automation or by working with collection agencies.
• End Financing (EF) Process
Handle loan documents, maintain a high success rate for EF applications, and follow up on approval statuses with banks.
Coordinate with lawyers and bankers to ensure timely bank drawdowns within project timelines. Submit progressive claim documents after billing stages.
• Billing & Collection
Follow up on payments from purchasers and banks. Submit claim documents to Finance promptly.
Prepare weekly reconciliation reports on loan progress, billing, bank drawdowns, etc., for management review.
Assist the Sales Team with administrative duties as required, including submission of legal documents, authority letters, or finance memos within deadlines.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Possess a recognized Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related fields.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the property development industry.
• Analytical skills with the ability to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese/Mandarin.
• Strong administrative, organizational, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a strong commitment to the department and company.
