This Credit Controller role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the organisation by managing debt recovery and ensuring the timely collection of payments. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of financial laws and procedures.

Description

  • Ensure credit control activities are carried out and meet established targets and deadlines.
  • Assess and revise debt recovery procedures, and take necessary actions such as stopping the supply of goods/services or initiating legal proceedings when needed.
  • Understand and adhere to the company's framework and policies.
  • Conduct required reviews and analyses, and prepare necessary reports on both regular schedules and as requested.
  • Design, implement, and maintain financial management and reporting systems, along with supporting administrative processes, to ensure effective and responsible use of financial resources.
  • Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives based on standardised work methods.
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations.

Profile

  • An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Individual who are detail and results oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience from the similar role is an added advantage
