The Role

Reporting to the Assistant Credit Manager, you will work in partnership with key collaborators within the business in order to both collect outstanding monies and deliver exceptional customer support. You'll be responsible for the collection of outstanding monies, accurate allocation of payments, and responding to customer queries via our inbound Finance email and phone queues.

Job Description

  • Manage a shared portfolio of clients, forming strong relationships with some of our Sales & Customer Service to deliver outstanding customer support.
  • Manage debtors accounts within agreed important metrics, including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) targets.
  • Address and resolve any finance queries lodged pertaining to accounts within specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain open communication channels and keep detailed records of all our customer interactions.
  • Work autonomously and as a team with other departments to tackle agreed problems and provide exceptional service.
  • Allocate all incoming payments correctly using remittance advice.
  • Keep up to date with any marketing, product, finance, or fraudulent activity to ensure that you are able to respond to queries.

  • Proven experience in Credit Management or Finance is highly valued.
  • Customer-focused with a strong ability to provide excellent service and build lasting relationships.
  • Capable of establishing strong connections with internal collaborators, such as Sales and Customer Service.
  • Proven track record of developing innovative solutions and process enhancements, with a passion for driving efficiency and change.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills while staying calm and composed under pressure.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong commercial and operational insight, with a strategic mindset.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Competencies

  • Familiarity with Workday Financials.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
