Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Credit Review professional to join our finance team in Malaysia. The role focuses on evaluating credit applications, detecting fraud, and assessing risk to ensure compliance with guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in credit-related functions, a Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Banking experience preferred; CCR/CCE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, Commerce, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in Credit Review, Credit Evaluation, Credit Assessment, Loan Processing, Fraud Review, or related functions.
• Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
• Experience in fraud detection, credit assessment, or credit approval is highly advantageous.
• CCR / CCE certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with good attention to detail.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Screen financing applications, verify applicant information, and identify potential document fraud.
• Review credit decisions and assess applicant creditworthiness and risk.
• Investigate suspicious cases and provide recommendations after review.
• Prepare credit review reports, maintain audit records, and submit SARs when required.
• Ensure credit decisions comply with relevant credit guidelines and product policies.
• Assess credit risks and ensure adherence to approval thresholds.
• Liaise with relevant internal teams on credit and fraud-related matters.
