We are seeking proactive, business-minded individuals to join our Credit Control team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, and is eager to learn and develop expertise in credit control. Key responsibilities include implementing the Group Credit Control Policy, conducting credit assessments, and monitoring debt and collection status. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a senior position. If you bring significant relevant experience, we are open to offering a higher-level position, depending on your qualifications and background.
The Job:
· Implement and enforce the Group Credit Control Policy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Conduct credit assessments for specific regions, evaluating customer financial status, payment history, and risk exposure.
· Monitor and manage accounts receivable, identifying overdue accounts and taking necessary follow-up actions.
· Oversee debt collections, including negotiating payment terms, resolving disputes, and implementing recovery strategies to improve cash flow.
· Prepare and analyse reports on collections performance, credit risk exposure, and aging analysis for senior management.
· Identify and mitigate credit-related risks, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
· Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to align credit control strategies with business goals.
· Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance credit risk management, optimize operations, and improve processes.
The Person:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Strong business sense, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
· At least 1 year credit control experience is preferred but not necessary.
· Flexibility to travel when required.
· Excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial systems.
