Job description

A well-established international bank in Malaysia is seeking a meticulous and analytical Credit Analyst to join its Corporate Banking team. This role is vital in supporting credit evaluations and ensuring sound risk assessments of corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth analysis of customer financial statements and business performance.

Prepare comprehensive and well-structured credit applications in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Assess and review customer credit ratings, and recommend updates as needed.

Work closely with Relationship Managers to understand client needs and provide effective credit support.

Monitor the performance of existing credit exposures and highlight emerging risks.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of credit-related documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis within corporate or commercial banking.

Strong financial analysis and credit evaluation skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Familiarity with credit structuring and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Fluent in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written), to support regional communications and client interactions.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
