Job summary

Confidential Careers in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a highly creative Lead Videographer & Video Editor to steer end-to-end production from concept to delivery. You will shape visual storytelling for short-form formats and major digital campaigns, guiding concepts, filming, editing, color, and sound.

You will work independently, manage multiple projects against tight deadlines, collaborate with marketing teams, and stay ahead of social media trends to boost audience engagement and brand presence.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Film, Multimedia, Creative Media or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in videography, video editing or creative production.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative direction, cinematography and professional video editing.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of filming techniques, lighting, audio and visual storytelling.
• Experience producing engaging social media content, particularly short-form videos.
• Creative, independent, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end video production, from creative concepts and storyboarding to filming, editing and final delivery.
• Produce high-quality videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
• Develop engaging visual storytelling aligned with brand identity and marketing objectives.
• Manage filming setups, including cameras, lighting, audio and production equipment.
• Apply creative editing techniques, motion graphics, colour grading and sound design.
• Stay updated with social media trends and continuously improve content quality and engagement.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams while independently managing multiple projects and deadlines.
