Job summary

Maxsmart Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dynamic student for a part-time Social Media & IT Support role. You will plan and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more, creating engaging short-form videos and captions to showcase Hytech and Maxsmart products.

You'll capture event content, edit with CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, and assist with AV setups during meetings and showroom demos.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Comfortable appearing in videos and capturing content.
• Basic understanding of computers, networking, AV equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Creative, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms for Hytech and Maxsmart.
• Create engaging short-form videos, including product demonstrations, before-and-after showcases, quick tips, customer success stories, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Capture photo and video content during events, exhibitions, product launches, and showroom activities.
• Edit videos using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms.
• Write engaging captions aligned with our brand voice and schedule content postings.
• Monitor comments, messages, and social media interactions, forwarding sales enquiries to the relevant sales team.
• Track content performance, including views, engagement, shares, and enquiries, and prepare simple weekly reports.
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and content planning.
• Stay updated with social media trends and propose fresh content ideas.
