Job summary

MAXSMART SDN BHD is seeking a proactive intern to create social media content and assist with showroom IT and event support. You’ll manage posts, edit videos, and help with live demonstrations at events and launches.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Comfortable appearing in videos and capturing content.
• Basic understanding of computers, networking, AV equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Create engaging short-form videos including product demos and tutorials.
• Capture photos/videos during events, showroom activities, and launches.
• Edit videos using CapCut/Canva/Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Write captions aligned with brand voice and schedule posts.
• Monitor comments/messages and forward sales inquiries to sales team.
• Track content performance and prepare simple weekly reports.
• Maintain a content calendar for consistent posting.
• Set up and test interactive displays, smart panels, projectors and AV equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support during demonstrations, training, and events.
