Job summary

ZUS Coffee is seeking a Creative Designer to join our Marketing team in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. You will translate briefs into compelling visuals for digital and print, ensuring brand consistency across campaigns, packaging, social content, and advertising assets.

You should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is required; experience with Figma, motion graphics, video editing, and AI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Creative Design, or a related field.
• Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, creative design, visual communication, digital content, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with a strong creative portfolio and relevant internship or project experience are encouraged to apply. Experience in developing social media content, marketing collaterals, campaign visuals, digital and print artwork, packaging, or brand assets is preferred.
• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work from creative briefs, adapt artwork across different formats, manage multiple design tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is required, while experience with Figma, motion graphics, video editing, AI creative tools, or packaging artwork will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a good understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, visual hierarchy, and branding.
• Familiarity with digital and print design, social media content, marketing collaterals, packaging design, and production artwork.
• Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, visual communication, and willingness to learn. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand creative briefs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic motion graphics, video editing, AI-powered creative tools, or other design software will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative assets for digital, social media, marketing campaigns, packaging, and other brand touchpoints.
• Translate creative briefs into engaging and effective design solutions while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Adapt artwork across multiple formats and platforms while maintaining visual consistency.
• Support campaign key visuals, social media content, promotional materials, packaging artwork, mock-ups, and production-ready files.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, and other department teams to deliver projects within timelines.
• Manage multiple design projects and ensure high-quality creative output.
• Stay updated on design trends, AI tools, and emerging creative technologies to improve creative efficiency and execution.
• Participate in brainstorming, concept development, photoshoots, and other creative projects as required.
