Job summary

Karex Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Graphic Designer to develop and execute creative concepts across digital, print, social media, packaging, and multimedia platforms. You will translate business objectives into visually compelling designs and ensure production-ready artwork.

You'll collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Business Development, and product teams, coordinate with vendors, maintain brand consistency, support photoshoots, and stay current with design trends and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Illustration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Familiar with AI tools to support ideation, design development, and workflow efficiency.
• Basic knowledge of photography and videography, including planning, setup, and execution.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking with a good eye for detail, visual quality, and brand consistency.
• Experience in packaging design is an added advantage.
• Able to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with both creative and non-creative teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative concepts across digital, print, social media, packaging, and multimedia platforms.
• Translate business and marketing objectives into effective visual designs and creative solutions.
• Develop innovative packaging designs from concept to final artwork, ensuring technical and production requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Business Development, Key Account Managers, Product Teams, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external vendors, printers, agencies, and suppliers to ensure smooth production and execution.
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure all creative outputs meet company guidelines and requirements.
• Support and participate in photoshoots and videoshoots, including basic planning, styling, setup, and execution.
• Stay updated on design trends, AI tools, technologies, and industry developments.
• Perform other related duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned.
