Responsibilities
- Aggressively hunt for new sales opportunitiesto meet and exceed the sales targets set by PSA BDP.
- Take a proactive, go-getter approachto generating leads through multiple channels, including cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals, to expand the customer base.
- Demonstrate expertise in freight forwarding, transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling, leveraging industry knowledge to close deals.
- Relentlessly pursue new businesswhile collaborating with cross-functional teams within PSA BDP to deliver optimal solutions.
- Build and strategically nurture strong relationshipswith key decision-makers, including shippers, freight forwarders, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their unique needsand develop tailored transportation and logistics solutions.
- Maintain a robust and well-managed sales pipeline, ensuring timely input and updates in the CRM system.
- Provide consistent sales reports and performance updatesto management, ensuring transparency in sales efforts.
- Take full ownership of the RFQ process, driving it from initiation to completion with a results-oriented mindset.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Relentless sales hunter mindsetwith a strong drive to pursue and close new business.
- BA/BS Degree required; additional industry certifications are a plus.
- 2+ years of proven, high-impact sales experience, with a track record of exceeding targetsand winning new accounts.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasive communication skills(both verbal and written), with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsand CRM systems to manage and track sales activities efficiently.
- Demonstrated success in competitive environments, with strong rankings, awards, or notable achievements in academics or professional experience.
- Experience in transportation, service solution sales, or international salesis highly preferred.
- Highly motivated self-starterwho thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and is eager to hunt for new sales opportunities.
