What You Will Do

As a Country Sales Executive for AECO in Malaysia, you will work with our customers to ensure their ongoing success and win new business. Your responsibilities include liaising with existing customers, achieving sales targets, presenting our Trimble Construction One products to prospects, and managing a growing client portfolio.

You will utilize your knowledge of construction technologies like BIM and IBS to understand customer needs and pitch our products as suitable solutions for project design, planning, and execution.

Your key duties include:

  1. Developing Account Plans for Key Accounts
  2. Developing and executing sales plans based on Trimble’s OKRs to drive revenue and ARR
  3. Realistically forecasting and reporting sales funnels against performance
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and collaboration with technical professionals both locally and globally, you should possess:

  • Result-oriented and goal-focused mindset
  • Strong time management skills and ability to deliver results on time
  • Effective communication skills, including listening to customer issues, understanding workflows, and identifying goals
  • Good organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales and Account Management
  • Experience in Software or Technology Company Sales, or revenue-related roles
  • Knowledge of the Construction Industry is an advantage
Location and Work Environment

You will primarily support customers in Malaysia, based at our new Trimble office in Mid-Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, alongside a team of about 21 people. Some travel (around once per quarter) is expected to meet with clients. Our office offers a vibrant environment with leading technology solutions, and a hybrid work model allowing work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
