Costing Manager

Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity.

Analyzing changes in operation/production methods and assets to determine effects on costs.

Analyzing actual production costs and preparing periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual production costs.

Responsible for the preparation of monthly management report reviews, including costs variance analysis, margin review, and productivity improvement plans.

Responsible for maintaining costing structures and systems.

Assisting the Senior Finance Manager in preparing the budget and forecast for each project.

Reviewing monthly VRA reports with production teams.

Working closely with production teams and consultants.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. Familiarity with standard costing processes in the quarry industry and quarry/mining operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong costing background, familiar with accounting principles and relevant laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people skills.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
