Qualifications

- Possess own transport for site visits and client meetings.

Job Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotation, Bills of Quantities and other tender documents for tendering purposes
- Analyse project costs and variances as well as provide recommendation for proper justification to ensure reasonable costing
- Negotiating and administering contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors
- Assess and evaluate on progress claims, prepare variation orders and etc
- Source for new suppliers and contractors
- Prepare commercial documents including Progress Claim, Pre & Post-Tendering reports
- Responsible for overall administration of project-related claims
- Work closely with project management team to ensure contract compliance, cost control and timely project delivery
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards where applicable
- Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by HOD/Manager from time to time
Job Requirements
- Possesses Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent to related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience or any similar role (Experience in Construction Field/M&E will be additional advantage)
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision from tendering stage until end process
- Acquire excellent negotiation skills with excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Possess great interpersonal skills by working collaboratively with different departments and division
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient computer skills and computer software; AutoCad, MS Words, MS Excel, MS Outlook to effectively manage project documentation and analysis
- Possess own transport for convenient travel to project sites and client meetings
