About the role

Pristine Glory Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Costing Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Pusing Perak. As a Costing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of our services.

What you'll be doing

Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects

Analysing project costs, identifying potential savings, and recommending cost-optimisation strategies

Monitoring and controlling project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets

Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making

Preparing comprehensive financial reports and presenting findings to senior management

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cost management

What we're looking for

Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Costing Engineer or in a similar cost management role within the construction industry

Proficient in the use of cost estimation software and financial modelling tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices

Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
