TSH Resources Berhad is seeking a Senior Executive to join its Finance team, focusing on costing and financial analysis. You will provide insight into divisional operating costs, support budgeting and forecasting, and work with operations and procurement to ensure spending aligns with business needs.

The role supports management decision-making with clear, timely, and accurate analysis and reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3 years of costing, FP&A, management reporting or audit experience; candidates with an audit background are preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly cost analyses for divisional operations, providing detailed analysis of expenses and comparison against budget.
• Assist in developing divisional budgets, forecasts, variance analyses and other related financial reports to support management reviews and budget presentations.
• Analyse current and past financial data to identify cost trends, monitor variances and highlight actions for improvement.
• Support management in reviewing and interpreting cost and pricing analyses to facilitate operational decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional departments (e.g. operations, procurement) to gather data and identify areas for improvement, ensuring cost alignment with business processes.
• Monitor opex and capex spending against budgets.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and reports as requested by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cost analyses for divisional operations, providing detailed analysis of expenses and comparison against budget.
• Assist in developing divisional budgets, forecasts, variance analyses and other related financial reports to support management reviews and budget presentations.
• Analyse current and past financial data to identify cost trends, monitor variances and highlight actions for improvement.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.
